Back2Classics, a fresh, close and intimate trampoline show for the whole family where the most classic circus merges with urban cultures through dance, music and the art of turntablism (scratching with vinyl records). A proposal where the trampoline takes on a life of its own among the madness and acrobatics of its protagonist. Mau Jara \u00e9 artista e professor especializado em pinos, origin\u00e1rio da Costa Rica, onde trabalhou at\u00e9 2017 como artista independente e com a companhia de circo Punto Muerto. Atualmente vive em Portugal onde \u00e9 professor de pinos e acrobacia, continuando a participar em cria\u00e7\u00f5es, como int\u00e9rprete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mauricio Jara is an artist and teacher who specializes in handstands. He was born in Costa Rica, where he worked until 2017 as an independent artist and with the circus company Punto Muerto. He currently lives in Portugal, teaching handstands and acrobatics, and performing in several productions.<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n

Nesta forma\u00e7\u00e3o intensiva de pinos, vamos explorar o equil\u00edbrio de m\u00e3os de diferentes pontos de vista. Abordaremos o b\u00e1sico desta habilidade, mas tamb\u00e9m mergulharemos no pino como ferramenta para o processo de cria\u00e7\u00e3o. Vamos experimentar pinos no ch\u00e3o, em pessoas, em objetos. E faremos perguntas. Muitas perguntas. Como podemos conectar-nos com uma plateia quando estamos de olhos para o ch\u00e3o? (Precisamos mesmo de olhar para o ch\u00e3o?) Um convite a todos os artistas circenses interessados a aventurarem-se nesta experi\u00eancia de cabe\u00e7a para baixo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this handstand intensive we will explore handbalancing from different points of view. We will cover the basics of this skill, but also dive in to the handstand as a tool for the creation process.<\/em> We will experiment with handstands on the floor, on people, on objects. And we will ask questions. A lot of questions. How can we connect to an audience when we are staring at the floor? Do we even have to stare at the floor?\u00a0Therefore I invite all interested circus performers to dive in to this upside-down experience.<\/em><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Raphaela Olivo<\/strong> nasce no Brasil e forma-se em circo na Escola Nacional de Circo do Rio de Janeiro, como base de portes acrob\u00e1ticos. Em 2017, cocria a companhia DuoVerse juntamente com o volante Nicol\u00e1s Gonz\u00e1lez com a qual realiza digress\u00f5es pela Europa e Canad\u00e1. Em 2020 estreiam o espet\u00e1culo “Habitual” e em 2021 “Dentro de uma coisa s\u00f3”. Nico Mancialez<\/strong> nasce no Chile. A liga\u00e7\u00e3o ao circo surge aos 15 anos e aos 18 j\u00e1 estuda na Escola de Circo de Londrina, no Brasil. Volta ao Chile e trabalha nos circos “The London Circus” e “Circo del Tony Caluga”. Forma-se em circo na Escola Nacional de Circo do Rio de Janeiro nas t\u00e9cnicas de m\u00e3o a m\u00e3o, acrobacias coletivas, malabares e trap\u00e9zio de voos. <\/p>\n\n\n

Raphaela Olivo<\/strong> was born in Brazil and trained in circus at the National Circus School of Rio de Janeiro, as a base. In 2017, after the end of his studies, he co-creates the company\u00a0DuoVerse\u00a0together with the flywheel Nicol\u00e1s Gonz\u00e1lez with which he tours Europe and Canada. In 2020 they premiere the show “Habitual” and in 2021 “Dentro de uma coisa s\u00f3”.<\/em> Nico\u00a0Mancialez<\/strong>\u00a0was born in Chile. His connection to the circus began at the age of 15 and by the age of 18 he was already studying at the Londrina Circus School in Brazil. He returned to Chile and worked in “The London Circus” and “Circo del Tony Caluga”. He trains in circus at the National Circus School in Rio de Janeiro in the techniques of hand to hand, collective acrobatics, juggling and trapeze flying.<\/em><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n
