Tangle\u2026in the womb of a juggler explora o movimento como num sonho abstrato, livremente inspirado pelos mitos e lendas de Tonga, feminilidade e malabarismo. Tangle \u00e9 inspirado pelo jogo “Hiko” das ilhas Tongan, que \u00e9 um jogo onde frutos em forma de bola (nozes tui-tui) s\u00e3o atirados para o ar em padr\u00f5es circulares.  Francesca Mari pretende enfatizar a feminilidade e fortalecer a feminilidade das mulheres atrav\u00e9s de diferentes culturas com a manipula\u00e7\u00e3o de objetos, dan\u00e7a e antipodismo.<\/p>\n

Tangle…in the womb of a juggler explores movement as in an abstract dream, freely inspired by the myths and legends of Tonga, femininity, and juggling.  Tangle is inspired by the game \u201cHiko\u201d of the Tongan islands, which is game where ball-shaped fruits (tui-tui nuts) are thrown into the air in circular patterns. Francesca Mari aims at highlighting femininity and empowering womanhood across differents cultures through object manipulation, dance and antipodism.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

O sil\u00eancio \u00e9 total, mas dentro de mim, reina uma agita\u00e7\u00e3o particular, informa\u00e7\u00f5es contradit\u00f3rias que s\u00e3o processadas em tempo real. O corpo diz que j\u00e1 n\u00e3o aguenta, mas a mente n\u00e3o quer saber, levando o corpo para al\u00e9m do seu limite.
Neste estado segundo o sil\u00eancio \u00e9 mais surdo, e cada movimento que se faz, aproxima-nos do limite.
Este \u00e9 o ponto de partida para esta nova cria\u00e7\u00e3o, explorar o limite f\u00edsico para contar o que se v\u00ea\/sente do outro lado, onde o mental nos suporta e nos permite alcan\u00e7ar um estado que at\u00e9 ent\u00e3o n\u00e3o conhec\u00edamos, revelando emo\u00e7\u00f5es primarias, \u00edntimas e universais.
O mastro chin\u00eas, serve de pretexto para mergulhar verticalmente na profundidade do ser, alcan\u00e7ar esse limite, e ultrapass\u00e1-lo.<\/p>\n

The silence is total, but inside me, a particular agitation reigns, contradictory information being processed in real time. The body says it can’t take it anymore, but the mind doesn’t care, pushing the body beyond its limit. In this second state the silence is deafer, and each movement that is made brings us closer to the limit.  This is the starting point for this new creation, exploring the physical limit to tell what we see\/feel on the other side, where the mental supports us and pushes us to reach a state we didn’t know before, revealing primary, intimate and universal emotions. The Chinese pole is the apparatus that will serve as a pretext to dive vertically into the depth of being, to reach that limit, and overcome it.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Bowa, uma n\u00f3mada, \u00f3rf\u00e3 de ra\u00edzes e sonhos, encontrou um dia uma garrafa na orla mar\u00edtima. Dentro dela encontrou uma mensagem e algo despoletou uma busca pelo seu destinat\u00e1rio. O caminho era t\u00e3o rico que se tornou quase uma obsess\u00e3o. Desenvolvimento de uma investiga\u00e7\u00e3o sobre as garrafas: manipula\u00e7\u00e3o, equil\u00edbrio e desmistifica\u00e7\u00e3o do objeto, tornando-o num personagem, cenografia, ou mero elemento de suporte.  Acrobacia a\u00e9rea, tecnicamente carregada, mas desenvolvida de forma org\u00e2nica e coerente e, claro, humor e poesia como elementos transversais.<\/p>\n

Bowa, a nomad, orphan of roots and dreams, one day found a bottle on the seashore. Inside it she found a message and something spurred a search to find its intended recipient. The path was so rich that it became almost an obsession. Development of an investigation on the bottles: manipulation, balances, and demystification of the object, making it a character, scenography, or mere support element.  Aerial acrobatics, technically charged, but developed in an organic and coherent way and, of course, humour and poetry as transversal elements.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Ao estilo de uma The Office, mas onde a palavra existe muito pouco, o corpo parte dos est\u00edmulos do espa\u00e7o e dos objetos para comunicar toda a filosofia do Gim. Na linguagem da palha\u00e7a, e atrav\u00e9s da com\u00e9dia f\u00edsica e do pensamento sobre a felicidade, no momento o espet\u00e1culo encontra-se na \u00e1rea da performance, circo e teatro de rua. A excentricidade de Martha cria d\u00favida, p\u00f5e em causa o conhecimento e questiona a l\u00f3gica do pensamento, tamb\u00e9m abre e levanta quest\u00f5es – liberta.<\/p>\n

In the style of a The Office, but with very few words, the body uses the stimuli of space and objects to communicate the whole philosophy of Gim. In the clown language and through physical comedy and thinking about happiness, at the moment the show is in the area of performance, circus and street theatre. Martha’s eccentricity creates doubt, questions knowledge and questions the logic of thought, it also opens and raises questions – it liberates.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

O The Overcoat-s \u00e9 uma reflex\u00e3o inspirada no romance Overcoat do escritor russo Gogol. Akakj Akakjevich \u00e9 uma pequena engrenagem na enorme m\u00e1quina burocr\u00e1tica que oprimia classes sociais inteiras no final do s\u00e9culo XIX em Petersburgo. A burocracia \u00e9 constitu\u00edda por toneladas de papel: regras, regulamentos, leis, outras regras que explicam regras anteriores e depois papel, muito papel, tudo assinado ou a ser assinado. Toda a dramaturgia \u00e9 baseada em casacos, numa secret\u00e1ria e na luta do personagem contra o seu pequeno mundo. <\/p>\n

The Overcoat-s is a reflection inspired by the novel Overcoat by the Russian writer Gogol. Akakj Akakjevich is a tiny cog in the enormous bureaucratic machine oppressing entire social classes in the late 19th-century-Petersburg. Bureaucracy is made up of tons of paper: rules, regulations, laws, other rules that explain previous rules and then paper, lots of paper, all signed or to be signed. All the dramaturgy is based on these coats, a desk and the fight of the character against his little world.  <\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Neste momento de solid\u00e3o, ela n\u00e3o se fecha sobre si pr\u00f3pria. Ela d\u00e1 um passo atr\u00e1s, um passo acima tamb\u00e9m. Este espet\u00e1culo, entre a dan\u00e7a e o circo, deve a sua for\u00e7a \u00e0 sua simplicidade e \u00e0 autenticidade do gesto. Um encontro harmonioso e hipn\u00f3tico corpo-a-corpo entre um aparelho extraordin\u00e1rio e uma jovem mulher em metamorfose total.<\/p>\n

A young woman gradually moves away from the world of reality and enters a forest of mysteries and dreams. Her liana body approaches, insinuates itself, slips into the wood. In this moment of solitude, she does not shut herself away. She takes a step back, a step up too. MUTABILIA \u00e9 um espet\u00e1culo de circo contempor\u00e2neo e teatro f\u00edsico, assente numa estrutura cenogr\u00e1fica oscilante e mutante. \u00c9 uma met\u00e1fora sobre a instabilidade do nosso tempo, pretendendo estimular a reflex\u00e3o, entre outras, sobre a import\u00e2ncia das rela\u00e7\u00f5es humanas, como atos de liberdade e express\u00e3o, de constru\u00e7\u00e3o. Reflete tamb\u00e9m, simult\u00e2nea e metaforicamente, sobre as rela\u00e7\u00f5es humanas e o seu paralelismo simb\u00f3lico na forma como constru\u00edmos e habitamos os espa\u00e7os privados.<\/p>\n

MUTABILIA is a contemporary circus and physical theatre show, based on an oscillating and mutating scenographic structure. It is a metaphor about the instability of our time, aiming to stimulate reflection, among others, about the importance of human relationships, as acts of freedom and expression, of construction.  It also reflects, simultaneously and metaphorically, on human relationships and their symbolic parallelism in the way we build and inhabit private spaces.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n
